Since most of us are at home, we can begin to learn new things and fulfill the decisions we make in the new year. What you wanna do? What do you want to achieve? What prevents you from having the body you've always wanted? Positive mindset, focus, motivation, determination and self-love are everything in this area.
There are many different ways you can keep yourself motivated and keep up with your fitness journey. However, nothing is complicated and each person's motivation is unique. You have to find the things that motivate you the most and hold on to it!
For example, many people are more motivated to work or do something else if they visualize their goals. You can print out some body shape inspiration pictures and hang them around your location so you are constantly motivated to reach your goal. Or you can learn to cook and cook new tasty yet healthy recipes. If you reach your dream weight, you can create a reward system for yourself. You may ask your friends to exercise with you, and you may have some difficulties with them. You may prefer to go for a walk and use the stairs and use the elevator. You can try different sports by buying new sports clothes.
The diet will only provide you with short-term results. These drastic eating changes are not beneficial for your weight, health, or mind. You may be nervous and frustrated just about restrictions and counting the calories you are about to eat. Generally, these eating habits are not sustainable and you will eventually revert to your previous eating habits. Also, the notorious yoyo effects can occur after dieting because you can eat more than you are used to. Often times a person feels hungry during restricted eating and this is reflected in mood habits and moods. Changes in mood, sleep problems, irritation, fatigue, headache and many more are symptoms you may experience during dieting.
Losing weight is making sacrifices. It's not just about restraining yourself for a while. You have to adapt to a completely new and sustainable lifestyle. The best way to do this is slow. Include soda intake, sugar intake, snacks, junk food, etc. Try to limit it. You don't have to do it all at once. Gradually - step by step. Maybe week to week. Let your body adapt and get used to the new changes you make. Do not be too strict or overly motivated. It will not do you any good.
Do you have an Instagram account? If the answer is yes, motivate yourself even there! You can do this by calling some fitness trainers or people who enjoy exercising and browsing their accounts for inspiration and motivation. Many of them not only post fitness pictures, but also create easy-to-follow exercise and recipes for cooking or baking. Also, you can find more people on the same journey as you and motivate each other.
Exercise can also be done properly at home! Don't listen to those who say it's impossible. There are lots of exercises and video workouts online to watch. You just need to choose the right one for you. Also, be sure to ONLY follow what they are doing right now. Do not enroll in any program or membership unless the fitness instructor is qualified. Make sure you only follow people with a fitness degree or certification. You definitely don't want to work with people who have no idea what they're doing, do you?
It is also VERY important that you enjoy what you do. If you do not like a particular workout, there is a chance that you lose motivation by doing it after a long time. Start with light cardio, then add a few weights. Yoga and pilates are great exercises for toning with your own weight for the whole body.
They are also generally good for your flexibility, mobility, and health. You will also improve your breathing techniques while doing yoga or pilates. Both of these exercises might not seem that difficult at first, but we promise you that most of the time you will challenge yourself and you will have to go further! But it will pay off in the end!
