Dijitalleşme ve enformasyon teknolojisindeki hızlı değişim sağlık elemanlarındaki küresel hareketliliği daha da güncelleştirmiştir. Onlara olan gereksinim nüfusun yaşlanması, kronik hastalıkların artması ve nesiller arası sosyal bağların farklı bir boyutta evrilmesi gibi nedenlerle hızlıca artmaktadır. Mevcut sayıları bu ihtiyaca cevap verecek düzeyde olmaması yanında ülkeler ve bölgeler arasındaki dağılımlarında da önemli farklılıklar mevcuttur.
Bu eserde sağlık profesyonellerinin küresel göçüne dönük temel bilgiler sunulmakta, bu sürecin alıcı ve gönderici ülkeler için nasıl başarılı bir hâle getirilebileceğine ilişkin stratejiler tartışılmaktadır. Küresel ve ulusal aktörlerin siyasi, ekonomik ve sosyal sorumluluğuna dikkat çekilmektedir. Sağlık profesyonellerinin göç alan ülkelerde iş koşulları irdelemekte, dilsel, kültürel ve diploma denkliği sorunları üzerinde çözüm yolları gösterilmektedir. Ayrıca hemşireliğin sosyal sistemdeki stratejik önemi bu eserde ele alınmakta, dört ülke kökenli uzmanların araştırmalarıyla mevcut zorluklara, eğilimlere ve tahminlere dönük genel bir bakış sunulmaktadır.


The rapid change in dıgıtalization and information technology has further updated the global mobility of healthcare professionals. The need for them is briskly increasing due to reasons such as the aging of the population, the increase in chronic diseases, and the evolution of intergenerational social ties to a different dimension. In addition to the fact that the current numbers are not sufficient to meet this need, there are also significant differences in their distribution among countries and regions.
In this work, basic information about their global migration is presented and strategies on how to make this process successful for recipient and sending countries are discussed. Attention is drawn to the political, economic, and social responsibility of global and national actors. Health professionals are examined in the migrant countries and solutions are shown on linguistic, cultural, and diploma equivalence problems. In addition, the strategic importance of nursing in the social system is discussed in the work, and an overview of experts from four countries.
