Teaching English Language is for teachers, teacher trainees and all readers who wish to get some insight into the language teaching profession. Teaching English Language offers –theoretical background for all the courses taught in the departments of English Language Teaching at the faculties of education– extensive reference lists to get more information on the main courses and for further reading –reasons why such courses are crucial for teaching English– ways of judging the efficiency and appropriacy of any course-in-depth analysis of major issues in the courses through questions –questions designed to enhance the crucial points in the courses and promote critical thinking skills.
